DIRECT TO METAL PRIMER (KD2000 & KDA2000)

KD2000 Direct to Metal Primer has been formulated with a hybrid of epoxy and acrylic polymers, which provide excellent adhesion, good corrosion resistance, flexibility, productive dry times, and ease of sanding. These primers emit very low amounts of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Hazardous Air Polluting Solvents (HAPS), and contain no isocyanates (CA compliant primer). KD2000 may be applied to properly cleaned and sanded aluminum, steel, galvanized steel, OE finishes, sand blasted steel, fiberglass and SMC. This is a two part kit, you will need to order KD2000 and KDA2000.

MIX RATIO 4:1 - 4 PARTS KD2000 PRIMER/ 1 PART KDA2000 ACTIVATOR.
(for 2.1 VOC, RU300 must be used)

NOTE: GALLON SIZE REQUIRES 1 QUART ACTIVATOR.

CHROMATE-FREE EPOXY PRIMER SURFACER (KP2CFA & KP2CFB)

KP2CF Epoxy Primer Surfacer is designed to work over properly prepared bare aluminum, magnesium, fiberglass, steel galvanized, OE finishes and some woods and plastics. It may be applied to repair areas for fast fi lling of touch ups as well. KP2CF's good corrosion resistance, fl exibility, tenacious adhesion to substrates, fast build, and ease of sanding, wet or dry, makes it a logical choice for the foundation of a long lasting paint job. This is a two part kit, you will need to order one part A and one part B for a complete kit.

MIX RATIO 1:1 - Mix 1 part KP2 CFA to 1 part KP2 CFB.

KO-SEAL® II PRIMER SEALER (KS Series)

KO-SEAL II is a high quality sealer designed to:

• Act as a bond coat between primer and top coats.
• Act as a holdout agent to prevent topcoats from soaking into the primer and reducer.
• Make the object to be painted an appropriate color for faster coverage of top coat.
• Can be applied over properly prepared and sanded previously painted surfaces first topcoats.
• KO-SEAL II can also be used as a fast drying and excellent sanding primer.

MIX RATIO 4:1:1 - 4 PARTS PRIMER/ 1 PART KU-150/ 1 PART RU REDUCER.
NATIONAL VOC RULE - 4.58 LB/GAL 550 G/L.

KO-SEAL® II 2.1 VOC PRIMER SEALER (KS Series)

Ko-Seal® II is a two-component acrylic urethane primer sealer. Available in black, white and silver metallic colors. When tinted with our Kandy Koncentrates, they make a perfect ground coat color for many effects. This product meets VOC requirements nation wide. Sealers are a must when doing custom finishing.

MIX RATIO 4:1:1 4 PARTS PRIMER/ 1 PART KU-150/ 1 PART RU REDUCER.
SCAGMD RULE 1151 - 2.08 VOC LB/GAL 250 G/L.

BLEED CHECK SEALER (SBS)

Bleed Check is a two-component acrylic urethane sealer designed to stop the bleed through of products. Bleed Check will stop bleeding colors from interfering with artwork.

The following HOK products have a tendency to bleed: KBC-05, KBC-10, KBC-13, KK-05, KK-10, KK-13, UK-05, UK-10 AND UK-13. We recommend using Bleed Check over the above products to protect artwork.
