RUN and NIB ELIMINATORS

From time to time everyone experiences a run in the paint or clear or a large dust nib . Here are some aids to help eliminate these problems.

MotorGuard Run Blockers

The Magna Run Blockers are engineered for the refinishing technician to block out runs, sags or dust particles in top coats. Also, they are ideally suited for block sanding body filler or primer in hard to sand areas resulting in a truly smooth finish.

MotorGuard Run Razors

The Run Razor is MOTOR GUARD's "cutting edge" technology tool for repair work in the final painting process. This tool is used for "shaving" away runs, sags and dust particles prior to color-sanding the final finish. It uses a calibrated dial to obtain accuracy of .001 inch cuts. 3M Nib Eliminator Discs

3M Finesse-It Nib eliminator discs are small 1-3/8” Wet-or-Dry Discs 1500 Grit, with a scalloped edge to eliminated edge cutting. They are (PSA) Self-Adhering to the specially made to fit the 1” diameter Hand Sanding Block #MMM 13441 (shown right)
