Auto Air Colors are
ready-to-spray base coat graphic colors suitable for custom
automotive painting, motorcycle tanks, fenders, helmets,
etc. Available in 147 brilliant and durable colors, Auto Air Colors
are the latest breakthrough in water-based automotive coatings
technology. Use for entire vehicle paint jobs or graphics. Featuring
surprising performance advantages, cost savings and time efficiency
compared to urethane base coat paints.
Auto Air Colors are ready to spray out of the bottle and do
not require any hardeners, reducers, or catalysizers. No mixing is required. There are no time windows to work under and the colors spray smooth
and
may be masked with automotive tape. Colors have excellent adhesion.
Colors have a silky,
finely atomized spray pattern and dry to a flat, even
finish without an "orange peel" look.
Auto Air Colors are
at the forefront of the latest technology of what the automotive
paint industry is evolving into which is a durable, water-based,
non-toxic color. By
utilizing the latest developments in water-based technology, Auto Air Colors
have greater flexibility than urethane or lacquer paints making them
more resist to chipping and flaking. When spraying on
fiberglass, Auto Air Color do not create an electro-static charge as
do urethane base coats which makes dust and debris stick to the
colors.Auto Air
Colors are fully compatible with any automotive urethane clears,
paints and
primers. Made with automotive specific pigments & binders, Auto Air
Colors are permanent and lightfast for long lasting, brilliant,
durable paint jobs.
Auto Air Colors can be used as the base coat for an entire
paint job, which
is then coated with a finishing clear coat, or used for graphics
applied onto the factory finish then coated with a clear coat.
Auto Air Colors contain less than 0.01% VOC. Auto Air Colors are
safer to use than urethane systems and pose much less health or
respiratory danger when used in conjunction with good safety
practices and a NIOSH approved mask. Expensive air filtration
systems are not needed.
Auto Air Colors include many of the stylized finishes that have been
used in the traditional customization market. Effects such as candys,
metallics, pearlized, chameleon, color shift flops and more are
easily obtainable.
Auto Air Colors are designed to be coated with a clear finish for
maximum permanence. Auto Air Colors work excellent with virtually
all urethane or polyurethane clear coats of any grade. There are no
compatibility issues between paint and clear coat when working with
Auto Air Colors. Due to the Auto Air Colors’ porosity, the clear
coat is absorbed directly into the paint creating a strong, uniform
bond. The result is perfect unison between the base colors and clear
coat. Auto Air Colors have a "death grip" on the clear coat. They
will not lift or peel.
No pre-mixing! Ready to spray colors do not need hardeners, reducers
or other additives.
Intermixable color range allows thousands of color blends and
special effects for true custom colors. Candys, chameleons,
metallics, and color flop effects are all available.
Compatible with
urethane primers, paints and clear coats.

weeks later!

Series Overview
- Series 4000 Sealers, Additives, Cleaners
- Base Coat Sealers,
bases, reducers, additives, and cleaners. 400 Series products are
additives for the other series.
- Series 4100 Aluminum Bases
- Silver metallic-like effects with
highly reflective properties. 4100 Series make excellent bases for
4200 Series Transparent Colors and 4600 Series Candy Colors.
- Series 4200 Graphic Colors
- Includes the following:
Transparent Colors - 20 brilliant intermixable colors for all types
of graphic work such as blending, layering and toning other colors. Semi-Opaque Colors- 20 brilliant colors for all
types of paint jobs. These are your paint colors when a flat to
semi-gloss finish is needed. Fluorescent Colors- Bright colors for dramatic neon effects.
- Series 4300 Special FX Colors
- Includes the following:
Pearlized Colors- 14 high luster pearlescent finish colors.
Metallic Colors- Used when a dramatic liquified metal finish such
as gold, bronze, or silver is desired. Iridescent Colors- A
shimmering pearlized color which changes its hue at angles.

Chameleon Colors- Dramatic color-shifting & pearlescent colors. Chameleon

Sparkle Colors
- Includes the following: Hot
Rod Sparkle Colors- Recreate the "retro" hot rod Flake look
popular in the 1950's and 1960's. Brilliant powerful glitter-like
flake effect that truly shimmers. Cosmic Sparkle Colors- Used
to create a more refined star-like shimmering effect. Sparklescent - Unique blends of multiple effects colors that create a single stage "candied" custom finish color. Sparkle Flake - Traditional metal-flake glitter look.
- Series 4600 Candy
Colors
- The Candy Color Series are true
candies. 15 brilliant intermixable
colors allow unlimited mixing and custom possibilities. Amazing
effects can be achieved especially when using 4100 & 4300 Series as a
base. Mix 4500 Series direct with Candy Colors for metal-flake candied
colors.
